The MARIVELES WATER DISTRICT, through the MWD Approved Budget for 2017 through the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) intends to apply the sum of One Million Four Hundred Ninety Thousand Pesos (Php 1,490,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract to Supply, Delivery, Testing and Commissioning of One (1) unit Brand New Portable Air Compressor Silenced. Single Stage, Oil Injected Rotary Screw Compressor Technology driven by diesel engine mounted on two wheel trailer with Handheld Pneumatic Breaker with Silencer. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

Delivery Period : FIFTEEN (15) CALENDAR DAYS
Bidders should have completed, within the last three (3) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract with an amount of at least 50% similar to the project. The supplier of the compressor and pneumatic breaker here in the Philippines should be an ISO 9001:2015 Certified. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in section II Instructions to Bidders. The BAC will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids. The BAC will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid.
Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183 and subject to Commonwealth Act 138.
All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR).
The Pre-bid schedule is on June 26, 2017 (10:00 am) and BAC will issue Bidding Documents to interested bidders starting June 16, 2017 (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) upon payment of a non-refundable amount of FIVE THOUSAND PESOS to the Mariveles Water District Cashier.
Bids must be delivered to Mariveles Water District Office on or before July 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated ITB clause 18. Bid opening will immediately follow at 1:00 PM. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders representatives who choose to attend. Late bids shall not be accepted.
The Mariveles Water District reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
